HAYS Accounting and Finance has a great opportunity for an experienced Bilingual Accounts Payable Clerk to join a highly reputable property company based in Ottawa on a temporary, full time contract for 1 month.
Working in a team of 5, reporting into the Accounting Manager, this role will be responsible for full cycle accounts payable function (matching, batching and coding a high volume of invoices, around 500 per week processing bi-weekly cheque runs and employee expenses, maintaining the petty cash account and assisting with projects associated with improvements to systems and processes within Accounts Payable.
The successful applicant will have at least 2 years' experience in a full cycle Accounts Payable position processing high volumes of invoices, be team orientated, willing to help team members when need be and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as this role will involve consistent liaison with clients and suppliers. Having Accounts Payable experience within the property industry and being immediately available to start work will be a definite benefit.
