The Project Manager, Planning & Property conducts research, prepares reports, provides consultation and advice, prepares and applies for regulatory licences and instruments, liaises with private and public agencies. The Project Manager, Planning & Property acts in an official role on behalf of the company in matters related to planning and real property issues and management.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepares technical studies in support of regulatory licence and instrument applications in support of operations within all arms of the company
Ensures that the company’s real estate holdings are managed accordingly and leased in a timely fashion
Create, and assess feasibility studies
Ensures all responsible parties within the company are educated and acting within the requirements placed upon them by the company and appropriate regulatory agencies for compliant operation of the facilities where they work or that they are responsible for falling under the business development/planning and environment departments jurisdiction
Acts in an official role on behalf of the company in dealing with the public in formal and informal situations
Bachelor’s degree in related discipline under planning, real estate development or engineering;
Minimum 10 years of industry experience
PMP would be considered an asset
Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally.
Strong analytical and research skills.
Knowledge of land planning and development at all levels of government (federal, provincial and municipal)
